J-Lo in trouble with Cyprus

Oh dear, what's happening now? J-Lo unwittingly has become embroiled in the stubborn Cyprus issue when she agreed to sing at the opening of a glitzy new casino in the unrecognised Northern Cyprus. However, after extreme pressure applied to her by the Greeks, J-Lo has cancelled her engagement saying, via a press release by her PR that "she would never knowingly support a state, country of institution that was associated with any form of human rights abuse". Well, if that's so, then tear up your US passport then, honey. North Cyprus hardly figures as a state that is a noted abuser of human rights except in Greek propaganda, so it's clear who was fundamental it getting J-Lo to skip this event. Also, great to see that while the Greek economy is going down the tubes that its politicians see that J-Lo singing in North Cyprus is deserving of far greater attention, concern and priority. Yet another sign as to the true intentions for reconcilliation and peace on the island, and how it will never be the Greeks who want it.
