But where is this Lady Gaga drag act happening?

Would you believe that this elaborate drag stage production happened in the provincial city of Santa Clara in Communist Cuba? Yes, it's true. Cuba's gay community held a large-scale gay pride celebration in the city famous for the Che Guevara memorial in May this year. Festivities also took place in the capital Havana and many other Cuban cities. Despite economic hardships and a decades-long US blockade, Cuba and its gay population, led by Raul Castro's daughter Mariela, show a resilience and dynamism unparalleled in the world. Definitely this proves that Cuba is not the repressive jail that US neocons would like us to believe. There are more amazing photos here, with some pretty impressive and glamourous drag queens to boot! Byron Motley gives more detail about the celebrations here.
